Today we took Paul and Amanda on one of my favorite hikes: Blackrock Summit in the southern part of Shenandoah National Park. It's only about a mile long but the view is awesome. Plus, we saw a bear! It was way down near that pinkish tree at the bottom of the rocks; I tried to take some pictures but it was so far away they didn't turn out well.

We drove to the end of Skyline Drive, then spent the afternoon in Charlottesville on the way home. I got a cool new bag, and we all got some delicious fancy cupcakes. Mmm...chocolate raspberry and butterscotch. :)
