Today, thanks in part to Groupon, I went hang gliding for the first time!
I went through Highland Aerosports in Ridgely, MD. They use an ultralight to tow you up to 2500'.

After we released from the ultralight I got to do most of the flying. You control the hang glider by shifting your weight, so once you figure out which way you need to move it's pretty easy to control. We did a stall and some turns to headings, then tried to find some thermals.
Oh noes! Haha, just kidding. :)
It was over way too fast! We tried to find some lift over a parking lot but there wasn't enough to keep us up longer so we went back to the airport. Still, it was a blast and I can't wait to go again!
