Mark and I went to Alexandria today to meet our friend Jeff for dinner. He just moved to VA to start a new job! We had some extra time before we had to meet him so we wandered around Old Town Alexandria for a little while first.
We actually wound up taking the Metro up to Rosslyn and meeting him at Kanpai. Very tasty! Mark and I want to go back to Alexandria soon, though, both for Christmas shopping and to try several little restaurants we saw while we were walking. Any suggestions of places that you like?
By the way, I was the one who initially worked you out of VKX yesterday morning! I would have said hi on frequency but I figured you might have your hands full with the low IFR, plus I was in the middle of a training session that wasn't going the greatest. At any rate, hope you had a great flight! :)
