Today Mark and I spent the day in DC. Normally, the Capitol Building looks like this...
...but today it looked like this! The Ringling Bros. Circus is in town and today they had their Circus Animal Walk.
The elephants posed in front of the Capitol Building for a few minutes, then they rounded out the parade with some horses, a bull, and some tiny ponies.
After the parade we took some time to smell some of the pretty flowers...
...then grabbed some lunch and had an impromptu picnic.
After lunch we wandered down to the Tidal Basin. Some of the cherry trees are starting to bloom.
Some of the people rented paddle boats. These people kept making the ducks mad.
I tried to take a picture of Mark jumping over the Capitol Building. It almost worked, but instead of turning out super awesome it kind of looked somewhat painful.
