Picture of the Day: April 20

Today Mark and I spent the day hiking in Shenandoah National Park. We hiked Limberlost Trail, which was really nice and open and flat.

Then I pulled my usual "ooo, where does this go?" trick and we wound up hiking an extra 2 miles on Crescent Ridge Trail, which was not so nice. We found out later that they closed the trail because of how bad it was ripped up by some earlier flooding. On top of that, the overlook that it ends at was closed for construction!

At least we saw some deer along the way.

After that, we hiked the Rose River Fire Road down to a waterfall. I wanted to climb in it, but some couple was sitting on the far edge so I behaved.
