I was a bit bummed out when last week's hike got cut short by a bear, but since one of my friends had never been to Shenandoah before he offered to go hiking with me. Back to Shenandoah it was! :)
He brought his dog, Carter. Carter thinks mountains are nice.
We hiked Miller's Head, a 1.6 mile trail that leads to a fantastic view.
Carter was glad the trail wasn't any longer...he seemed happy when we stopped at the top!
After the hike we stopped at Big Meadows. All the wildflowers are blooming...it's so pretty!
A couple deer crossed the path right in front of us. I didn't run into any bears this week, at least!
