Where it all began...my intro flight! I had actually taken an intro flight the summer before, but I didn't have the money to keep flying at that point so I put the idea on hold for a year before I could actually start lessons. This was the summer before my senior year of high school; I was seventeen in this picture. I wound up working a whole bunch of part time jobs to help pay for lessons but it was totally worth it. When this picture was taken I had no idea where flying would take me; all I knew was it was fun and I wanted to keep doing it.
Tomorrow will be fifteen years of flying for me...I'm hoping the weather holds so I can squeeze in a short flight before work!
