Today I got to go flying!! It had been a little too long and I had actually lost currency...one of the very few times I've let that happen. Bob and I took up his Aerobat...I got to beat the airplane up for a little while with some aerobatics (including my favorite - a snap roll at the top of a loop), then we came back for a few takeoffs and landings. It was so nice to get back in the air again!
After flying (and catching up on all of the latest Cross Keys gossip) I met John for lunch. Oh, sushi...so tasty!!
Mom and I went out to Granny's so I could stop by to visit for a bit. I let Mom drive my car. I think she'd keep it if I let her. :)
Apparently Mom's not the only one who likes my car...the outside kitties at Granny's house like it too!
When we got back, Zach and I went to Hops and Grapes, got some tasty drinks, and had a fire in the backyard. This time we didn't leave any Wawa meatballs (or wine bottles) in the backyard for the groundhogs, though. :)

Today officially marks the end of my Picture of the Day project. My goal was to take a picture every single day for an entire year, and with this post I've met this goal! It wasn't always easy and the pictures weren't always spectacular, but I stuck with it and I'm definitely proud of what I've done. I've been thinking about what I would do next for a while now, and for several reasons I've decided to continue taking a picture every day and posting them here, at least for the next few months. It's going to be an interesting summer, as Mark will be spending the next 7+ weeks in OKC for training and I'll be here in VA with the dogs. I've been making some fun plans to help pass the time while he's gone, so hopefully I'll have some cool pictures to post as the summer goes on! :)
