Today was a really good day for the garden! We decided to see if any of the sweet potatoes were ready and wound up with 19 of them. I'd say they were ready! We still have a few more but we'll dig them up later.
We figured we'd take advantage of some of the tasty stuff in the garden while we had it, so we used the basil to make some pesto...
...and turned some of the sweet potatoes into a pie! It turned out really well; we used Paula Deen's recipe so I figured it would be good. :)
