Picture of the Day: October 2

I had my transponder check done last week. While the transponder passed just fine, it turns out my altimeter was indicating about 300 feet low! I knew I was in trouble when the mechanic told me to tap on the altimeter face and the reading jumped 100 feet. I had them pull out the altimeter and encoder and we sent them out to be overhauled and calibrated. It sounds like it should be back together just in time for the annual inspection. Ah, the joys of aircraft ownership! Hopefully I'll be back in the air by the end of the month. :)
