Picture of the Day: March 4th to March 10th

March 4th: Early birthday cupcakes. Mark's birthday is tomorrow, so he stopped at Harris Teeter on the way home and picked up a few fancy cupcakes. We split the chocolate one for dessert. Mmm...cupcake...

March 5th: Mark's Birthday! We spent the morning ice skating at Fairfax Ice Arena, then had some delicious tacos for lunch before going to the movies in the afternoon. Fun!   :)

March 6th: Snow! We finally got one good snow for the year; I'd been hoping for this for a while. We probably got a little over 6 inches before it started to turn into a slushy mess. It was coming down really hard for a while; our road was covered again within half an hour of being plowed at one point.

March 7th: So much for that. The snow turned into rain toward the end of the storm, then it warmed up a lot the next day. Our yard turned into a big lake.

March 8th: Metronome vs. wiener dog. I've been meaning to get a metronome for a while and finally remembered to order one. It showed up right before I had to leave for work, so I opened it up to check it out. Bacon wasn't too sure what to make of it.

March 9th: Furlough letter. Not that it was a surprise...I'd been expecting it for a while. The mailman laughed when I said, "Oh good...my free time off letter".

March 10th: Post-run bubbles. Neither one of us had the mid this week, so we went for a run Sunday after work. Mark took out his bubbles left over from Kristy's wedding when we got back. Bacon kept trying to eat them.
