Picture of the Day: August 7th to August 13th

August 7th: Our garden is still doing pretty well. I took a few minutes to check on it in between rain showers.

August 8th: Mark has been wanting ramen for a while, so he made some for dinner. We made sure to pair it with an appropriate whisky.  :)

August 9th: I spent part of my day up at Frederick (FDK) with AOPA, working on a fun project with one of my work buddies. It was a gorgeous day to fly back and forth, and we even got to park right out front!

August 10th: I snuck outside for a lap on the track at work...the sunset was pretty nice.

August 11th: We had been dealing with storms all night at work, and a few of us were eating dinner in the cafeteria when our phones all went off with a tornado warning for our area. Being the rocket scientists that we are, we of course all went right outside to see it. That glob of clouds did wind up putting down a small tornado a couple miles away, but even better was when someone looked straight up and pointed out that the clouds were rotating directly on top of us, too. Oops.

August 12th: We had a pretty good haul from the garden today.

August 13th: Mark and I both had regular Sunday day shifts, so we rode in together in his Datsun. The sunrise was fantastic.
